Reg Porter is an Islander who has devoted a significant part of his life to the study and preservation of Prince Edward Island heritage, especially its architecture. He has previously held positions at Mount Allison University, PEI Heritage Foundation, and University of Prince Edward Island. Prior to retirement, he worked for ten years as a heritage consultant working in museum planning, archaeological survey, and historic building restoration. //// Reg Porter est un Insulaire qui a consacré une partie importante de sa vie à l'étude et à la préservation du patrimoine de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, en particulier son architecture. Il a auparavant occupé des postes à l'Université Mount Allison, à la PEI Heritage Foundation et à l'Université de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard.
